Emergency services
Routing calls to emergency services in Mexico is not supported. Do not rely on voice calling for emergency service access.
Special requirements
As of August 3, 2019, Mexico updated its mobile dialing format. The correct format is +52 followed by 10 digits. The previous format of +52 + 1 + 10 digits is no longer valid and may result in blocked calls or additional charges. Ensure all Mexican mobile numbers in your system use the current 10-digit format after the country code.
Compliance note
These guidelines summarize carrier requirements at the time of publication and do not constitute legal counsel. Verify that your implementation complies with all applicable telecommunications regulations in Mexico.
