DTMF support
DTMF tones use RFC 2833 format and are supported for both inbound and outbound calls.
Emergency services
Calls to emergency services numbers in Argentina are not supported. Do not rely on this service for emergency communications.
Special requirements
When dialing Argentine mobile numbers from an international point of origin, the digit 9 must be inserted after the country code (+54). For example, a mobile number formatted as +54 9 11 XXXX XXXX includes the required prefix. Omitting the 9 when calling mobile numbers internationally will result in failed or misrouted calls.
Compliance note
These guidelines summarize carrier requirements at the time of publication and do not constitute legal counsel. Verify that your implementation complies with all applicable telecommunications regulations in Argentina.
