The default behavior of the ringDNA Dialer will prompt a user to start a new Salesforce session to authenticate and log a user into the platform. In most cases, the an SSO provider will allow for the session to be created by Revenue.io's servers and redirect through Salesforce OAuth.
However in some cases, the SSO may be configured to reject these connections or a user could experience errors elsewhere during the login flow.
Salesforce Pass-through Login allows a ringDNA user to connect through an existing Salesforce Session and could help get around these types of issues.
Enabling Salesforce Pass-Through Login
- Right click on the ringDNA Extension icon on your Chrome toolbar, then select Options. If you don't see the extension icon, it may also be found by clicking the puzzle icon.
