What is Google Ads Call Tracking?
The Google AdWords Call Tracking tool leverages Google AdWords’s granularity by allowing you to assign a unique telephone number, a call flow, and a marketing campaign in Salesforce to web traffic associated to specific Ad Groups, Campaigns, and Keywords.
For example, if your ad shows up on the Google search results when Dog Food is the search term, you could show a unique and dedicated telephone number on your ad’s landing page. When visitors call that unique telephone number a call flow could route those calls to a dedicated team, specific members of your team, a custom IVR menu, or a custom recording. On top of that, any calls to that unique number would be captured against a Salesforce campaign giving you incredible insight into the traffic from Google AdWords, the resulting business, and your return on investment on those ads.
