Google G Suite Administrators have the ability to restrict which applications users can access with their Google accounts. Due to the sensitivity of data in a company's Google account, many third-party applications like Revenue.io may be restricted by default. In these cases, it's necessary for a Google G Suite Administrator to whitelist our application in order to leverage its features.
What is 'whitelisting'?
Whitelisting is a policy which allows users access to only specific applications that an administrator permits. It ensure that only trusted sources can access an organization's G Suite data.
Why does Revenue.io need access to my account?
Revenue.io leverages our integration with your Google account in a few ways:
- Automate sending emails from within Guided Selling and update Salesforce when you receive a reply
- Determine your availability for a meeting in Calendaring for Sales, and generate meeting availability links
- Automatically update your presence in the RingDNA Dialer based on if you are in a meeting
