Symptom
When a user attempts to place a call, a red banner displays at the bottom of the RingDNA Dialer indicating that the call failed with the code “You already have a call too…”
Cause
A user may only have one call to a unique phone number at a time. This occurs commonly when an agent places a call on hold, then attempts to dial the same number. Often this happens when calling into a business with extensions. Although the user may be connected to one individual and attempting to reach a different person, the base phone number is the same.
Troubleshooting
Verify that the user has no other calls on hold which may match the number they are trying to call. If this does not solve the problem, attempt to clear the browser’s cache and cookies before reloading the dialer.
