The Guided Selling Status API Batch process executes as a means to understand which native emails failed to send correctly. Any emails which failed to send correctly are converted to manual email actions, or are sent via Salesforce depending on the email configuration settings set by the Administrator.
The status API batch process runs every 15 minutes.
The participant batch process interacts with the following components:
- Guided Selling Managed Package
- Revenue.io API
The responsibility of the batch process and what it controls are:
- Calls the Revenue.io Status API to get the status of Native email actions
- Executes fallback process for unsuccessful status and sends emails via Salesforce or converts them to manual email actions
