Maintenance and Backfill Operations

Maintenance and backfill operations are supported programmatic procedures for specific remediation or historical-data scenarios.

These operations are generally run manually by an administrator and should not be scheduled or incorporated into recurring automation unless the procedure explicitly says to do so.

Some Guided Selling batch jobs run automatically during installation or upgrade and appear in Salesforce Apex Jobs. A visible batch job is not necessarily intended to be started manually.
